Pixel Bead Manager transforms any image into a detailed bead-by-bead blueprint. Analyze colors, edit your pattern with 8 precision tools, and export professional invoices — all in one playful, powerful workspace.
Core Features
From automatic pixel detection to professional invoice generation — Pixel Bead Manager handles the tedious parts so you can focus on creating.
Drag & drop PNG, JPG, BMP, or GIF files directly into the canvas. The program analyzes pixel dimensions and suggests the optimal bead grid size automatically.
Choose from 10+ built-in bead palettes (Hama, Perler, Artkal, Nabbi) or load custom ones. Adjust the maximum number of colors from 2 to 256, or use exact-pixel mode.
Each cell maps to one bead. Show or hide the grid overlay, display coordinates, and use the rulers for precise placement. Zoom from 1% to 800%.
See the magic
Drag any image into Pixel Bead Manager and watch it transform into a precise, bead-by-bead blueprint in seconds — with a full bill of materials ready to go.

Editing Tools
Paint, erase, fill, draw lines, rectangles, circles — each tool with its own cursor and brush size from 1 to 20 px. Use the eyedropper to pick any color, and select regions to move, flip or rotate.
Selection Tools
Select any region of your pattern and manipulate it freely. Move pixel-by-pixel with arrow keys, rotate 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise, flip horizontally or vertically. Copy and paste between sections — duplicates are supported.
Move selection one pixel at a time in any direction.
Mirror horizontally/vertically, rotate 90° in either direction.
Color Layers
Each detected color becomes its own layer. Toggle visibility, rename colors, reorder by drag-and-drop, or delete layers entirely. Double-click a color swatch to reassign it to a different bead color. Add custom colors to your palette with one click.
Palette Management
Support for the most common color palette formats used in the bead art community. Also extract a palette directly from any PNG image.
Load custom palettes from JSON files with name-to-RGB mappings.
Adobe Swatch Exchange — universal color swatch format for design tools.
Adobe Color Table — indexed color table format from Photoshop.
GIMP Palette (.GPL) and direct palette extraction from any PNG image.

How It Works
Drag & drop any PNG, JPG, BMP, or GIF file. The program instantly reads pixel dimensions and suggests the optimal grid size. You can fine-tune the cell size or use the built-in LCD-style auto-detect.
Choose a bead palette from 10+ built-in options or load your own. Set the maximum number of colors and click "Analyze". Each color becomes an independent layer you can toggle, rename, or recolor. Use exact-pixel mode to preserve every shade without palette matching.
Switch between 8 tools using keyboard shortcuts. Paint, erase, fill regions, draw lines, rectangles, or circles. Select areas to move, rotate, flip, copy, or paste. Zoom from 1% to 800% with the slider or Ctrl+scroll. Full-screen mode (F11) for distraction-free editing.
Choose from 5 export formats: PNG with proportional invoice, clean pattern only, borderless pixel art, professional multi-page PDF report, or JSON data export. Save and reload entire projects with Project (.pbm) files to continue editing later.
More Goodies
Every paint stroke, fill, and selection operation is recorded. Undo and redo as many times as you need with Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y. An initial history snapshot ensures undo works even on a fresh canvas.
Right-click any block to change its color, select all blocks of the same color, delete it, or restore it. Contextual actions without hunting through menus.
Switch between light and dark modes with a single click. The entire UI — canvas, panels, buttons, and rulers — adapts instantly. Your eyes will thank you during late-night beading sessions.
The left sidebar is a PanedWindow — drag the divider to give more space to your tool settings or to the canvas. The layout adapts to your screen size.
Before you click, see exactly which cells will be painted. A semi-transparent overlay shows the brush area — no more guessing where your 20px brush lands.
Press F11 to expand the application to fill your entire screen. The canvas centers and all chrome stays accessible — perfect for detailed work on large patterns.
Download it, drag in an image, and have a complete bead plan in under a minute.
